Research conducted in this laboratory has centred on mechanisms and therapeutic intervention of cardiovascular remodeling, particularly inflammation, myocardial hypertrophy and fibrosis, as well as β-adrenergic signaling known to contribute to cardiac remodeling. We have been particularly interested in identifying factors that contribute to cardiac inflammation with consequent adverse remodeling after myocardial infarction.

Service 2: Gene/cell delivery by intra-myocardial injection

Service 5:Mouse cardiac catheterization, baseline measure of blood pressure and cardiac function, drug administration and determining dose-response relation, pressure-volume catheterization.

Note: time-to-result depends on type of procedures, parameters to be analysed, duration of experiments and number of animals.
