VPTN Professional Development Series: Implementing Change
Change happens all around us. Are you equipped with the right skills to make effective changes in your facility? Can you make change work for you?
The first VPTN Professional Development workshop for facility managers in 2013 focuses on:
- Planning for the introduction of change
- Dealing with the challenges and opportunities of change
- The impact of change on colleagues and organisations
- Effective leadership behaviours to facilitate change
This workshop will be presented by Shaun Davis, the VPTN’s resident facilitator from the Australian Institute of Management. The content of this workshop is included in the Australian Institute of Management’s Diploma of Management, however this workshop will not be assessed for inclusion towards this qualification.
The day will begin with an optional tour beginning at the Australian Synchrotron, where we hope to proceed along the new imaging and medical beamline and ending in Monash Biomedical Imaging (MBI). Access to this beamline is entirely dependent on the availability of the beamline on the day – if it is unavailable, an alternative presentation or tour at the Synchrotron will take place.
- 9:00am: Meet at the Synchrotron’s Technical Building (main building) (see map)
- 10:20am: Morning tea at MBI
- 10:45am: Workshop begins
- 12:30pm: Lunch
- 4:00pm: Finish
Free parking is available at MBI, please park at MBI and walk over to the Australian Synchrotron for the tour. Click here for a map.
Registrations close 5pm, Friday 22nd March, places are limited.
We hope to see you there!
