Presenting a five minute talk at the Conference Day is an opportunity to bring your research project into focus with your supervisor and our Primary sponsors, CSL and VLSCI will again be generously providing a monetary prize for the best biomedicine and bioinformatics presentations respectively.
All current UROP students are encouraged to give a 5 minute presentation. While presenting at the Conference Day can be daunting, it is an valuable opportunity for you to make a presentation in a safe and friendly environment and as previous presenters and attendees can attest, it is a very worthwhile event on the UROP calendar.  All supervisors have been asked to support their students. Click here for presentation instructions are available.
  • For students registering to give a 5 minute presentation, CSL is offering a limited number of places at a full day “Confident Presentations” professional development training session on Saturday 7 July (9.15am start to 4.30pm).  This is a wonderful opportunity to develop your presentation and communication skills, at CSL’s global head office in Parkville, in preparation for the Conference Day.  Places will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
