Do you have a terms and conditions document or a service agreement for your customers? What do you think the service agreement protects you against? Do you have any legal obligations once you start charging for a service? Service agreements / terms and conditions are established with the basic intent of providing some upfront clarity around the expectations and obligations for both the client and the provider. Service agreements should limit risk, and ensure both parties get what they want.

Special guests to this workshop will be facility managers from the Adelaide Integrated Bio-sciences Labs

This workshop is relevant to facilities who have (or want to develop) a set of terms and conditions / service agreement for their customers, or who simply want to understand some issues surrounding this area in relation to managing expectations.

This workshop will be facilitated by our favorite training consultant, Shaun Davis from the Australian Institute of Management. Shaun’s background gives him the ability to takes us through the ins and outs Terms and Conditions in your Service Agreements.

Objectives:

  • Understand what terms and conditions/service agreements for your customers should and shouldn’t say.
  • To de-jargonize the legal jargon in Service Agreements.
  • To identify the key areas of misunderstanding between facility and client w.r.t terms and conditions
  • Let us know what you want (in the registration form) and we will attempt to address those on the day.

Outcomes:

  • To produce a template Service Agreement for your customers
  • To “workshop” a T&C awareness campaign that the VPTN will direct to the end user.
