MCATS Health Economics

The MCATS Health Economics Unit undertakes a range of projects focused on economic evaluation as well as the assessment of efficiency, equality and quality of healthcare production and performance. Researchers leverage the data from these projects to inform policy-making decisions at State, Commonwealth and International levels.

MCATS Biostatistics

We have developed a comprehensive and integrated programme of methodological and collaborative research which is complemented by our statistical training to build a skilled clinical research workforce. Our group also delivers the Master of Biostatistics (with the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia, BCA), and leads biostatistics teaching within the Master of Public Health and Master of Science (Epidemiology).
