Overview

The Burnet ImmunoMonitoring Facility is accredited in NATA’s R&D Program and offers immunological testing and sample biobanking for vaccine manufacturers, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, universities, and research institutes involved in translational research and development of novel therapies. The Burnet IMF complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 interpreted for research using CITAC Guide CG2 Quality Assurance for Research and Development and Non-Routine Analysis (1998), meaning clients can be assured that our Quality Management system and technical competence is of an excellent standard.

The Burnet IMF is currently accredited to undertake the following appropriately validated analytical techniques and processes:

  • Isolation and cryopreservation of mononuclear cells, plasm and serum
  • ELISpot assays
  • Multiplex Bead Array Systems
  • Flow Cytometry
  • ELISA
  • Neutralisation activity assays
  • Phagocytic function and oxidative burst activity analysis
