Overview

Manufacturer: Custom Made Reactors. Installed 2011.

Instruments allow for the deposition of thin organic coatings on a large variety of surfaces.
Chemistry of coatings can be controlled by varying the type of monomer and plymerisation parameters..
Surfaces can also be etched/made hydrophilic using air or other gases.

Benefits of the Plasma Polymerisation Chambers

Almost any surface can be coated with stable polymeric thin films
Taylor made hydrophilic/hydrophobic coatings
Surface etching
